Physics' pre-board practical!

"Haan ji...Richa ji... please come in n take ur sheet ." taklu greeted me wid 1 of his 'saved 4 d lucky time's' smile.

"Yeah .. comin sir . just 1 min. needa cram up this xperiment ." i replied while i hurriedly flipped thru my phy.lab. manual.

"No Richa. ur practical has strted. jitna parna tha woh aap par chuki hai. ab is tym parne se kya fayada ? yaad nahi rahega ." takli tand tuk away my buk n hushed me inside d first torture lab.

" arre... wait sir."

"ab kya hua ? "

" gotta wish Niya . uhm.. where is she ? " i asked searchin 4 my bestu- frndu.

" she has already strted wid her xperiment , unlike u." ganju replied.

i peeped inside d second torture lab.. n saw her ...settin her optical bench .
" hey Niya , best of luck ! "

" hmm... same 2 u." she luked up n smiled at me .

i smiled bck.. nd left 4 my torture 1 room.

" Richa , here take ur answer sheet n strt wid ur focal length of d concave mirror xperiment. go 2 table 'E' ." mr Joseph , d lab asstt. ordered in his filch-ish tone.

i read d 3 experiments assigned 2 me .

" mega f**ker a**hole !!"

honey luked at me n gave her usual twisted grin , which i reciprocated wid a 'phew! phy sucks bigtym!' xpression.

" ur's concave mirror huh?? " she asked .

" yeah.. " i replied dumpin my blue-green check stationary pouch on d exp table 'E' .

" last tym it was ? " she asked again

" bloody convex lens!" i muttered ,settin my optical bench .

" lucky Saloni ! she got ohm's law 4 d 3rd tym . " honey sighed .

" seriously ! this Javed pig n joseph doggy .... feel like bangin their heads real hard! "

"chill yaar! this is goin 2 b d last torture." honey strted writin down her observation.
" d day i get outta here .. i'll give hell 2 both of these gud 4 nthn fellas." i 2 strted writin
" haan ji richa ji , first readin likh li ? " came javed taklu's voice.
"nahi ji... abhi toh sirf graph banaya hai. " i answered mimickin him
" widout readin ke graph kaise bana liya apne ? " taklu raised his eyebrows

" very simple sir." i replied lookin straight in2 his eyes.
" don't temme dat u manipulated d readin ." javed sir's voicelevel raised (a danger sign)
"manipulate aur mein ?? itni bhi achchi nahi hai meri phy sir.since last 3 pracs i've been given this optical bench , ab tak toh iske screws n scratches bhi yaad ho gaye hai." i answered which was followed by honey's suppressed laf.

"aap mujhe abhi readin show kijeye. mere samne inverted image show karo screen par. " javed sir.. is a stubborn bull!
" hmm? " i felt smthn puncturin inside me .
" chaliye..shakal kya dekh rahi hai? show kijeye readin !"
i looked at honey who in turn gave me ' i'll try comin 2 ur funeral.' luk.

so, i strted wid my image settin exp .. smthn which i had not even done in my normal prcatical classes . i mean not dat i was pathetic at phy. but i never liked d way it was taught .
after 25 mins or so i finally managed 2 obtain n inverted image on d screen . ideally it shd've taken 10 mins but neways.....

" hmmm ... ab likhiye yeh readin . " javed sir made me write down d readin n then signed it 2 avoid ne further scope 4 manipulation.

"phatti teri toh..... ab laga beth kar 30mins 2 finish this exp. n then finish ur next 2 exps in d left over 30 mins. kisne kahan tha tujhe bolne ko ? 'abhi toh sirf graph banaya hai sir ' IDIOT !!" honey scolded me.

" relax yaar..... it'll take just 5 mins ." i spoke as if nthn had happened.
" yeah .... super Einstein !! "
"well.... coz i wrote d readin in pencil, so javed won't even remember ! " i showed her my practical sheet.

"awesome !" honey patted my bck.

" saved by chance eh? " Arpit asked me when i entered torture II lab .

... Thanx 2 my luck , I got d same exp in my board's prac BUT i did them honestly . no manipulated readings and no pencil written sheets. infact Javed sir cdn't believe his ears when i called him 2 chk my first reading. i scored 30 / 30 in my pracs whereas in preboards my score was 20 / 30 .
